The Legend Cherating Beach Resort is tucked away along a beautiful coastline and offers 129 spacious and comfortable rooms and suites that overlook a picturesque view of the garden, swimming pool and the South China Sea. Every room has a private balcony or patio and is also equipped with a safe deposit box and WiFi connection.
Two large swimming pools up to 6ft deep and a children’s pool provide endless hours of fun. You can also laze on our white, sandy beach, rent an ATV, play beach soccer, beach volleyball and water polo, or try your sharp-shooting skills at our archery range.
The Coconut Grove Coffee House & Terrace serves local must-haves like nasi goreng, nasi lemak, satay and sup ekor as well as Chinese and Western fare. The band at Cherating Bay Lounge plays a repertoire of all-time favourites while the X’pose Fun Pub is the place to go to groove the night away.
For meetings and events, the resort caters for up to 2000 guests in an outdoor cocktail-style setting and has several function rooms and two halls that are perfect for workshops, seminars and dinners of various capacities.
Nature lovers will be thrilled at what Cherating has to offer – a river cruise down Cherating River through a mangrove forest, firefly spotting, and turtle watching between April and September.
Cherating is an easy 3-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur and is very well connected to other major roads and highways. The nearest airport is in Kuantan, 40 minutes away, with flights from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Penang.
