Foreword of the Shanghai Trip - THE WAY AHEAD...

Decided to visit Shanghai, China in a rush and short period of time.

The main triggering factor was a seminar to be held in Shanghai, that is "THE WAY AHEAD", by Anthony Robbins (Also known as Tony Robbins), an Entrepreneur, Author and Peak Performance.

My friend, Simon, also a fan of Anthony Robbins, saw a wall post regarding the seminar on my Facebook, intending to attend as well...

He called me for more information, like ticket price, air ticket, hotel, number of days staying in Shanghai, and etc to come out with a budget.

After calculating the budget, and due to the event is about 2-3 weeks time, we can't think much about it, as we need to purchase the seminar ticket (the cheapest at the time was USD920), booking for the flight ticket to Shanghai, as well as booking for the accommodation. And of course, we need to apply for the Chinese Visa with the supporting documents, i.e. flight ticket and accommodation.

I'm so exciting after all tickets been purchased, booking been made and the Visa been issued, and waiting for the time to come. This will be my first trip with learning course during the journey.

In addition, we have made a booking for hotel accommodation via Agoda website. Without much research and comparison, we choose to stay at Eiffelton Riverside Hotel Pudong Shanghai. It was rated as 5-star hotel (let's wait and see...) with affordable price.
